Lead being applied by my good friend "Sonny". This paned has been tinned. He is preparing to apply the lead buildup. The buildup will be approxametly .125" at the door post then feathered. The same way one would feather "fillers". The lead will be finished filed with the door closed. Lead will also be used on the "steps" of the door posts. The door gap is controlled by filing away the necessary lead on the first door post step.
